本人這次創辦網站，目的除了將我在香港，從事箏樂工作幾十年來所儲藏的資料， 做一次深入分類的總結回顧外，更重要是為香港箏樂發展史料，創立一所初期小型的網上資料庫， 以提供給世界各地箏樂愛好者及研習者，洞悉港箏近幾十年來的開發演進過程，及其取得輝煌成果。 藉此，期望香港箏樂能活躍於國際舞台，成為世界各地箏樂愛好者學習的焦點音樂。

Mr. So Chun Bo is a master of Zheng music as well as a great educator in teaching Zheng. The materials of Zheng arts collected by him are important for the development of Hong Kong Zheng music.

To summarize those value materials systematically, we establish this website that serves as a small-scale database for Hong Kong Zheng art.

With the aim of sharing useful information to Zheng lovers and learners all around the world, the development of Hong Kong Zheng arts and the flourish times of it in the few decades are demonstrating here. We hope the vigorous growth of Hong Kong Zheng arts will carry on, especially in the international platform and the success as well as interests of Hong Kong Zheng music will grow.
